An unbeaten Debrecen visit the Pancho Arena on Friday

It is back to OTP league action on Friday when DVSC are the visitors.

It is match 3 of the OTP league season when Debrecen are the opponents. The original game was scheduled to be played on the Saturday, but that has been moved forward to the Friday.

DVSC have 2 wins and a draw so far this season. They defeated Puskas Academy on the opening day of the season by a single goal at the Pancho Arena, with the only goal coming from Calvente. That was followed by a home draw with Mezokovesd. The most recent game was at home to DVTK and that was won 2-0.

The value of their squad according to transfermarkt.de is 6,7 million euro. That makes them the 6th highest valued squad in the NB I. Their captain is Daniel Tozser, who scored last week against DVTK, and is valued the highest at 600,000€. He is followed by Kevin Varga on 500,000€ and Adam Bodi on 450k€.

The three league games have seen 7 players play in each of those matches. They are defender Csaba Szatmari, Szabolcs Barna, Akos Kinyik and Erik Cikos. Midfielder Daniel Tozser and Adam Bodi have also featured as has keeper Sandor Nagy.

The DVSC squad remained fairly together over the summer but there were some arrivals. Adam Bodi spent the majority of last season on loan from Vidi at Debrecen. That eventually became permanent in the summer. Other players joining were Attila Haris from Balmazujvaros and Alex Damasdi from NB II side Cegled. Swiss striker Albion Avdijaj arrived from Grasshoppers, Mark Szecsi came in on loan from Puskas Academy. Calvente had earlier played for both Bekescsaba and Haladas and is another to sign a deal. Erik Cikos had played before for Wisla Krakow and Ross County, and made 20 appearances most recently for Slovan Bratislava.

Departures were Justin Mengolo (Karabukspor), Peter Biro (DEAC) while Tibor Tisza finished his playing career. Bence Sos joined Vidi after 5 goals in 25 games.

Debrecen have not been able to beat Vidi since 2015 and that includes 10 wins out of the last 10 games.
