After just 12 seconds, we were already in the lead, and by the 8th minute Vidi had a two-goal advantage in the home league match against Szentlőrinc, with Murka sealing the 3–0 victory in the 93rd minute.

The match had barely begun and we were already in the lead! Young keeper Vas played a long ball forward, which Derekas crossed into the box from the left, and Dániel Németh, making a run into the box, fired the ball into the net after just 12 seconds (1–0). It was just the start Vidi needed and things were to get even better shortly after. In the 7th minute, following a cross from the right by Rac, Vas parried Kiss-Szemán’s shot, but a minute later we doubled our lead: Bartusz broke through after Németh was brought down, and we made excellent use of the advantage, with Bartusz converting the chance (2–0)!

In the 11th minute, following a cross from Bedi, Bartusz slid in to shoot but sent the ball over the bar; then, in the 32nd minute, Kun was shown his second yellow card for the visitors, giving our team a one-man advantage. In the 43rd minute, as the final chance of the half, Bedi’s shot from 21 metres was deflected for a corner.

After the break, in the 48th minute, following a cut back from Bedi, Murka shot just wide of the bottom-right corner; in the 49th minute, we cleared the ball following a dangerous Szentlőrinc free-kick. The action continued In the 60th minute, Derekas’s shot flew just over and wide of the top-left corner, then in the 75th minute, Pálfalvi’s shot bounced off the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Erik Kovács, and in the 79th, Dániel Németh found themselves in good shooting positions; the former shot wide, whilst the latter’s attempt was saved by the goalkeeper.

In the final ten minutes, both sides had a goal disallowed; Derekas’s goal for us was ruled out. In the closing stages, Kojnok, Dubecz and Erik Kovács came on for us, meaning that from the 75th minute onwards, four of our players eligible under the youth rules – Bálint Vas (born in 2009), Kende Köllő (2006), János Dubecz (born 2009) and Erik Kovács (born 2008) were all on the pitch at the same time.
At the end of the three-minute injury time, Murka put the icing on the cake, his shot finding the bottom-right corner (3–0)!
Our team secured a confident and well-deserved victory against Szentlőrinc; next up, we’ll be playing away at league leaders Soroksár this coming Sunday.
