A 2-2 draw with Lendava in stormy conditions

Vidi played their fourth preparation match in Bük, at the Bük Sports Center. In a match played behind closed doors, the opponent were Slovenian NK Nafta Lendava.

We have only met Nafta once. previously. That was in a friendly match, played on January 30, 2010, resulting in a 2-0 final score, with goals coming from Illés Sitku and André Alves. Today's training match would have been originally held in Slovenia, but both yesterday and today there was a lot of rain in the area, which made the pitch in Lendava unsuitable for play, so the match was finally held in Bük.

Manager Gábor Márton chose Kovácsik - Bolla, Musliu, Rus, Zeke - Pátkai, Nyári - Nego, Hodzic, Géresi - Zivzivadze for his starting line-up.

In the 3rd minute, Nyari's free kick was headed over by Musliu from 10 yards out. 5 minutes later and Novinic had a chance but Kovacsik came to the rescue. The first corner of the match produced the first goal. Bizjak arrived to the ball at a good pace and then fired into the bottom right corner from 13 yards, giving Nafta a 1-0. lead. In the 17th minute, Vidi took a corner, with the ball falling  in front of Nego, who shot at goal from 17 yards, but his shot was blocked by a defender. In the 24th minute, Nyari was in a position at the end of a nice move, but his shot from 15 meters went wide of the goal. Nine minutes later Hodzic put in a good cross from the right, but Zivzivadze slid in but it went just wide of the goal. At the close of the half, Nyari's free kick roared across the Slovenian goal.

After the break, Evandro and Kovács replaced Hodzic and Géresi. In the 51st minute, Evandro's close header was saved by Marko, in the Slovenian goal. In the 57th minute, and with the match being played in torrential rain, Bolla shot from 17 meters, but the ball went wide of the goal. Three minutes later, Vidi equalized. Nyari found Nego with a great ball in position on the right wing and he shot from 14 meters, with the ball coming off Kevin Körmendi's foot and past his own keeper - own goal. In the 66th minute, Evandro curled a free kick from 19 meters wide of the goal.

The last 20 minutes saw changes made by Vidi with the lineup: Kovácsik - Vágó, Nikolov, Stopira, Nego - Houri, Kovácsik - Funsho, Evandro, Petryak - Nikolics. The stormy weather suited Nafta better. In the 81st minute Drk tricked his marker inside the box and then cleverly shot the ball beyond Kovácsik, making the score 2-1. Towards the end of the match, in the 85th minute, Vidi were awarded a corner again, which saw Evandro score from close range. The referee blew for full time with the score MOL Fehérvár FC - NK Nafta Lendava 2-2.
