The Videoton Director of Football shared his thoughts on the postponed league game.
"I went onto the pitch several times and the condition worsened minute after minute. The pitch is frozen and small pot holes naturally make it dangerous to play on. Neither team needs injuries by playing on this surface. I feel that a good and responsible decision has been made by the match officials this evening. What troubles me is that we have got this far when we felt on Wednesday evening that we could not play this match. If the decision could have been made earlier, then the program for the team could have been different this weekend. We could have played a friendly but this is the past. The most important thing now is to beat DVTK on our home pitch next weekend" - commented Zoltan Kovacs.
