The Videoton manager shares his thoughts on the final league match of the 2017/18 season.
Marko Nikolic:
"I believe that we saw a good match today. I am proud of the team. I am also generally satisfied with the performance but not with the result. We created many chances, but we must not make so many mistakes in front of goal in an away game. We had problems defending the long balls, but I would like to point out that it was a very young defence out there. I am pleased that five youngsters played their first minutes of an NB I match. Balint Szabo was perhaps the youngest player to appear this season. The lads have been training with us week after week and showed what they can do on the pitch. As I have already mentioned, we created several chances and it would have been good to have more experience when it came to converting those. There was a difference in kg (laughter) when it came to the battles, but that will come with time and experience."
Fernando:
"I felt that the team played today for the first time as I would like to see them play in the future. We had an attacking formation to place pressure on our opponents. We created many chances. We had lots of possession in the opponents half. We were a real team and I am nothing without my coaching team. I would like to thank them for their help and the club deserves to be in the first division."
