Videoton visit a Honved side trying to get into the top three

Honved are the opponents on Saturday at the Bozsik stadium in Budapest.

A successful spring start for Videoton last weekend is quickly followed up by week 21 of the OTP league season and a visit to title defenders Honved on Saturday.

The Kispest side sit in fifth place after twenty league games and have picked up 28 points. They took the lead in last weekend's spring opener at Ferencvaros before eventually turning the game around to win 5-2. Honved are still involved in the Hungarian cup and drew 2-2 against Siofok after the first leg. The original second leg game was due to be played on the 28th February, but that match was postponed due to the bad winter weather.

The red and blacks have a squad valued at 7,2 million euros according to transfermarkt.de. That is the fifth highest out of the NBI clubs. The highest valued player is Davide Lanzafame who is valued at around 1,2 million euros. Next up is Hungarian international forward Marton Eppel, who has a 650,000€ tag on his back. Top goalscorers this season are Marton Eppel with 9 goals and Davide Lanzafame with 11 goals so far this season.

There was a bit of transfer movement during the winter months. Tomas Kosut came in from Poland and Tonci Kukoc arrived from Bosnia and Hercegovina. Further arrivals included Heffler and Zsolt Laczko, while Balazs Villam also signed on the dotted line for the Budapest side.
