Mátyás Kovács, who scored our first goal against Ajka, assessed Vidi's 2-1 victory in the friendly match.
"We played a useful match. We had a lot of absentees due to the national team and injuries, but the attitude of the team was very good throughout. The youngsters who had a chance today played well, fought and were skilful. We tried to implement the coaches' ideas as much as possible: we tried to keep Ajka under pressure, defend high and disrupt their defence - I think we did that and could have scored more goals. Before my goal, we passed the ball around nicely, Balu Szabó turned towards the goal, then he released me with great pace, then I just kicked it to the far post and luckily I felt the goal well" - said Mátyás Kovács after the 2-1 win against FC Ajka.
