Vidi started with some dangerous attacks; in the 6th minute, we narrowly missed to connect with Simut’s cross from the right in front of the goal, and in the 9th minute, Zsótér’s free kick from 16 meters was blocked. In the 32nd minute, following a Vasas corner from the right, Doktorics, making a run, shot well over the bar. In the 36th minute, Bedi curled a shot from the left just over the top left corner of the goal, and in the 44th minute, Murka’s shot was blocked after a pass back from Németh. Hesz headed wide after a corner, so after a hard-fought battle, the first half ended 0-0.

In the 51st minute, the visiting goalkeeper made a save following a cross from Németh on the left; three minutes later, Barkóczi cut inside and fired just over the top left corner for Vasas. In the 73rd minute, Németh broke down the left flank, and his shot ricocheted off the right post—it was a great chance. Two minutes later, substitute Haraszti’s deflected free kick went wide, but in the 76th minute, Vasas took the lead: Barkóczi fired a rebound into Kemenes’s net from close range (0-1).
Bartusz, Menyhárt and Dékei all came on for the home side, but in the 86th minute, Vasas scored their second goal on a counterattack: at the end of a drive down the left flank, Pethő fired into the right side of the net (0-2). At the end of the four minutes of stoppage time, Haraszti came very close to scoring, but Uram saved his shot from under the crossbar.

Our team fought hard and proved to be a worthy opponent for Vasas, who secured their promotion to NB I with this victory; however, two late goals decided the match in the visitors’ favor. The season continues next Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at BVSC-Zugló’s home ground.
