Vitor Gomes: It is clear to see that we have moved forward

"The first training camp in Spain went well, but perhaps the current one is even better. We have played much stronger sides, with CSKA Moscow participating in the group stages of the Champions League over the autumn. Evergrande won the Asian Champions League while Dinamo Moscow are a very strong team. We did well in these friendly matches, which shows that we have clearly moved forward. I hope that we can continue in this direction. Norwegian side Strømsgodset will be our opponents on Thursday. Perhaps they do not appear to be that strong on paper, as the sides that I have already mentioned, but we will have to go out onto the pitch with the same mentality, with the only aim being to win the match. I have never been to a training camp that has lasted as long as these two have. However, we are professional players and it is our job to make the most of pre-season ahead of Spring.
