Videoton visit a Paks side that most recently drew with Ferencvaros

It is another important weekend as Vidi look to secure their place at the top of the league table.

Match 28 of the OTP league season takes place on Saturday. Videoton FC go into their away match with Paksi FC in top place. The game against Aurel Csertoi's sixth in the table side will kick off at 17:00pm. 

Paks most recently travelled to play Ferencvaros and twice took the lead at the Groupama Arena. However, they could not hold onto the lead and eventually conceded an injury time goal to draw 2-2. The Tolna county side have done well over the spring season with 3 wins and 2 draws. They then suffered a surprise 5-2 loss to DVSC and also lost to Haladas 2-1.

Transfermarkt.de values their squad at around 5,23m€, which is the 10 highest in the NB I. Janos Szabo is valued the most at 500,000€. He is followed by Lajus Bertus and Kristof Papp, who are both on 400,000€. 

Their team is made up of Hungarian players and include former Vidi duo Adam Simon and Andras Fejes, who were both part of the 2014-15 title winning squad. Manager Aurel Csertoi was a former manager of Videoton and he coached them to the Hungarian cup success in 2006.

Paks have used 26 players so far this season in the first division. They most recently drew 2-2 away at FTC with Krisztof Papp and Janos Szabo both making the most appearances and being ever present. They are followed by Bertus and Gevay on 26 games. Janos Hahn has played 24 games and the top goalscorer is Laszlo Bartha with 7 goals so far. Bertus has hit 6 and Papp 5 in the top division.

 

They will be missing Andras Vagi who was most recently sent off against FTC on Saturday.
