Tamas Bognar will referee the final game of the season

Vidi travel to play Ujpest on Sunday in the last game of the 2011/2012 league season

Tamas Bognar will officiate the final league game of the current season on Sunday. Paulo Sousa takes his Vidi side to Budapest club Ujpest, looking to finish the season on a high. Bognar took his refereeing badge back in 1995, making his way through various county leagues to gain experience. He was then recommended to move up to take charge of division two games in 2002. He continued to progress and eventually joined the first division group of match officials in 2006. His debut game came that season when Kaposvar beat Papa 1-0 on the 8th April 2006.

Tamas Bognar also took charge of two matches at the Sostoi stadium in season 2008-09, with the first being a 0-2 defeat against MTK. The other match also ended in defeat, this time against Honved by the same 0-2 scoreline. Bognar has also featured this season, and his first game in the middle was in the 4-1 home league win over Pecs. Interestingly, he also refereed the return league match, which saw Vidi win 3-1 away in Pecs. His last match involving Videoton was the recent league cup final, which saw Vidi beat Kecskemet away by a 3-0 scoreline.
