The current season comes to an end on Sunday when Vidi make the journey to Budapest
OTP League Division One
Újpest - Videoton FC Sunday 27th May 2012, K.O. 15:30pm
The current 2011-2012 league season draws to an end next weekend with a visit to the Ferenc Szusza stadium. Ujpest have had a disappointing season with a change of management taking place recently. Belgium coach Marc Lelievre replaced Zoran Szpisljak and the violets have picked up since then. He became the third manager this season after Geza Meszoly began the new campaign on the bench. However, a bad start to the league season saw a change. Lelievre's run in charge has resulted in two wins and four drawn matches. The most recent game was away at Kecskemet, in a match that ended goaless. Sunday's opponents are currently in 12th place in the OTP table, having picked up 32 points after 29 games. They have won eight games, while drawing a further eight and losing sixteen times. Vidi comfortably beat Ujpest 3-0 in the autumn season with a 3-0 scoreline at the Sostoi stadium. Nemanja Nikolics scored twice with the other goal coming from Andre Alves. Niko is close to becoming the league's top goalscorer this season, and is currently tied at the top with Debrecen's Coulibaly.
