Janos Takacs is considered among the more experienced match officials in the first division. The forty-one year old has been officiating since 1998, and joined the group that referee's first division matches in 2008. His first match came in the Debrecen - REAC game, which ended 6-2. He has yet to take control of a match involving Videoton this season. He has been involved in the past, with games including the 2008/09 season 2-1 Diosgyőr home win. Takacs also managed last season's 3-0 home win over Vasas, which saw goals coming from Elek, Alves and Vujovics. His most recent game with Vidi was when we won 2-1 away at Papa in a league game on the 1st October 2010.
