We asked the Vidi head coach about the kind of game he was expecting against FTC.
"Ferencvaros are one of the biggest clubs in Hungary, whose squad is made up of really good players. They also have many supporters and the green and whites have a worthy history. Their manager is Thomas Doll who is a very good coach and he has brought new ideas with him to Hungarian football. They have been working hard day after day at Ferencvaros in order that their side can develop. Their new stadium is a fantastic facility. They have everything in place to become one of the best sides in the league. I am sure that it will be a difficult game, and I am also certain that both sides will be battling to win. In a game such as this one, it can often happen that the supporters will not see the best football from their side, but one thing sure is that it will be an exciting match. We have been working lots during the week to leave the pitch on Sunday as winners. Alvarez and Stopira both returned on Friday, but the other international players returned back with niggling problems. We would like to win better than usual despite all of this. We know just how important this match is for our supporters. I would desperately like to put a smile on the supporters faces and celebrate together with them after the final whistle" - commented Joan Carrillo.
