The two managers shared their thoughts on the league cup match.
Joan Carrillo: "I am pleased with the win. I knew that it would not be easy before the match, as there were several puddles out there on the pitch, which would make things harder for us. We also have a very big match at the weekend against Ferencvaros, who do not have a game in the league cup this week. There was also the chance of one of our players getting injured against Ajka, but this did not happen fortunately. I am satisfied with the performance of my side. We managed to create several chances and showed lots of movement around the pitch. The home side got in front of our goal twice, scoring once and hitting the post with the other. I am also satisfied with the young players that I gave a chance to who have had limited match action. I am thinking here of Kocsis, Pajac and Geresi. It was not that easy for any of them, as they had to play with much faster tempo than they are used to. You have to move the ball about much faster at this level, but the youngsters did this well."
Zoran Kuntic: "The performance of those players that we will be counting on in Friday's league game was very important for us. There were those that gave a good performance, but also those that did not. There was no problem with their determination, and I can have no problems with the team from this point of view. We had two very young defensive midfielders out there, and this level is still unknown to them. Vidi are the best team in Hungary, and they deserved to win by this difference.
