The manager in his first match in charge tried out several players in different positions.
Henning Berg:
"We have started to work on the play that I would like to see at the start of the season. The physical workload was important in the first game. We tried out some new elements in our game, but we cannot expect yet to see all of those work totally. This game was useful for us as it gave all of the players, apart from two youngsters, the chance to see them in match situation. We need to learn from this match and move forward step-by-step. It was also important to go through the game without picking up any injuries. We could of perhaps won the game based on the chances we created, but this was not the most important aspect of the game. Several of the players did not play in their usual positions, which was down to several reasons. Two of our players are at the European Championships, while I was also keen to see how a couple of the players would play in new positions. Viktor Sejben for example performed well at right back. Naturally as the important games arrive, we will not be making too many changes."
Soso Pruidze:
"Both teams are currently in the pre-season stage. My colleague and I tried out new tactics and also tested new players. The game was not about winning it. We are building a new side, with 6 new players linking up with us, and the defence and forward line received different tasks. I feel that both parts performed well. I am sure that it will be a totally different game if we meet in the Europa League. Neither side can draw anything from these 90 minutes."
