The Vidi manager shared his thoughts after Saturday's friendly match in Croatia.
Henning Berg:
"We played a good game against strong opponents. They also treated the game seriously and you could see this with their attitude. They moved the ball around but we defended well and we had enough energy to score good goals. We would have liked to have scored more if we could have been more precise with our finishing. But the game was still very useful to us as it was. We had some players missing but those that came in were given important match time. There were those that played in a new position such as Roland Szolnoki. He did very well in the middle against DVTK, and today he performed well as a central defender. He looked as if he has always played there. I can also pick out Istvan Kovacs who did well when he came on so altogether it is a good day for us."
The manager of the Croatian side politely declined to comment after the final whistle.
