The two managers spoke to the media following Saturday's game.
Henning Berg:
“This was an important win and a 2-0 victory is always a good score. The team played really good football in the first half and we dictated things. We played as we had planned to against DVTK. The second half also started well, but we could not continue this. Perhaps we took our foot off the gas pedal and were not sharp enough. Diosgyor came forward a bit and the game became more balanced. I fell that we controlled things and the game remained in our hands. Naturally we would have wanted to create more chances, which could have brought a further goal or two. The most important thing is that we won 2-0. We did not underestimate our opponents for a moment. They have beaten us twice this season. You could see this in our game and we performed really well in the first half. One thing to learn looking ahead is that we cannot let our concentration level slip a little. I am satisfied overall and it was not about DVTK managing to level things or turn the game around, but that we won the match. Now there will be an international break and we understand that the national team has to prepare together. Perhaps it would be better for us if there was no break as we are in good form. However, international football is part of football and our own players are looking forward to playing on the pitch for the national team. We have for example Paulo, who is very excited to link up with the national team tomorrow. These couple of weeks gives us a good chance to continue developing as a team."
Zoltán Vitelki:
“It was good to see that the team have moved forward a lot compared to last week. We were more massive and I could see with the players that they were more tactically mature in the way they played. We tried to organise our defence. We had no problems with this until the first goal. Vidi were more dangerous outfield although there was not too much danger in front of our goal. I am proud of the team and really hope that the new manager can start to work on moving the team up the table during the winter break."
