The green-and-whites took the lead in the first half with an own goal, then Pesic's early goal in the second half sealed the victory, and Alex Tóth's goal in the final minutes confirmed the result. Our home-grown player, Tamás Horváth, made his debut.&
Nikola Serafimov, Zsolt Kalmár and András Huszti all missed out as they underwent surgery, which meant they were forced to miss Sunday's match, and the coaching staff could not count on Bence Babos and Ivan Saponjics due to minor muscle injuries.

Head coach Krisztián Tímár put his faith in the following eleven players at Ferencváros's home ground: Dala, Kovács M., Petrov, Spandler, Kalandadze, Milicevic, Szabó B., Melnyik, Katona, Pető and Stefanelli.
The match started with a tough battle, with physical play dominating the early minutes and neither goal looking in danger. In the 10th minute, our team had a huge chance: Bohdan Melnyik cut inside from the goal line and beat Stefan Gartenmann with a superb feint, but his shot from a tight angle missed the top corner by inches.
In the 12th minute, we really felt that missed chance: Eldar Civic passed to Gartenmann, who headed the ball towards the goal, and it bounced off Ivan Milicevic, who was trying to clear it, and it ended up in the net (1-0).
Our agile team was rattled by the goal, and two minutes later Alex Tóth broke through on the right, but Dala Martin made a very good save to tip the shot around the post. Ferencváros was awarded a free kick, and Tóth took aim again, but this time he curled the ball wide.
The home side took control, and we could only stop their attacks with fouls. After the first half hour, a corner kick gave us some hope: Milicevic crossed into the middle, and Dénes Dibusz fisted the ball away.
In the final minutes, FTC had a series of chances: Lenny Joseph's close-range header fortunately missed the bottom corner, then Civic's shot was pushed away by Dala with a nice dive. In the 44th minute, Aleksandar Pesic headed the ball into the net from close range, but the referee disallowed the goal for offside.
Neither team made any substitutions during the break. The second half saw more of the same, with the green and whites pushing forward and doubling their lead in the 51st minute: Pesic latched onto a cross from Civic and beat our defenders to nod the ball into the net (2-0).
Krisztián Tímár made a double substitution, bringing on Simut Mario and 17-year-old home-grown player Tamás Horváth, who made his NB I debut against Ferencváros, in place of Alekszandre Kalandadze and Mátyás Katona.
We broke out of the tight spot in the 65th minute when Nicolas Stefanelli's pass was headed towards goal by Simeon Petrov, who was left unmarked, but Dibusz made an easy save, and then Pető Milán slipped at the moment of the shot, allowing the ball to miss the goal. The visiting Head coach snt on Bence Kovács and Lirim Kastrati into the fray, replacing Melnyik and Stefanelli.
The substitutions did not bring about a turnaround, and FTC's third goal decided the match as the minutes ticked away quietly. In the 82nd minute, Milicevic slipped, Tóth took the ball from him, sprinted towards the goal, and his shot bounced into the net (3-0).
With today's defeat, our team slipped back to 11th place in the table, which means relegation, and they can only retain a place in NB I by defeating DVSC in the final round.
