Pecs visit the Sostoi on Saturday evening

Pecs first faced Videoton back on the 15th December 1968 in a first division match at the Sostoi stadium. The season back then interestingly began in March and ended in December. That first match ended in a 2-0 away win for Saturday's visitors. Pecs have gone on to win in only 3 of the following 30 matches between the two. Their last win was twenty years ago, when they left the Sostoi with a comfortable 2-0 win on the 24th August 1991. The southern based club have been unable to win since then. Vidi's biggest win came back in 1997, under then manager Laszlo Disztl. The 5-0 home win came thanks to goals from Vancsa (2), Korsos, Dveri and Roth. The game took place on the 19th August 2006, in an exciting game, which ended 2-2.
