After the final whistle, Tamás Pető and Dávid Horváth assessed the match, which ended in a 3-2 MTK win.
Tamás Pető:
"We held the game until the 86th minute, then in the last five minutes we conceded two goals from two moments of not concentrating. We took the lead very quickly, which had a negative effect on the team, we couldn't really get out of our own half. We gave the initiative to MTK, but our defence on the ball was good, our opponents didn't have many chances to score in the first half, they only managed to equalise from an error. In the second half, we regained the lead and then had further chances to score. In the end, we let in two goals due to disorganization caused by fatigue, and MTK took the three points. I was happy with my team's performance until the break, not with the end of course, but I am proud of my players for our performance this autumn."
Dávid Horváth:
"The match and the game itself did not look like there would be so many events. Both teams tried to have as few transitions as possible, to control the game as much as possible and to force their own game on the opponent. Our plans were upset as early as the second minute when we conceded. After that, we put a lot of energy into both of our equalizers, we deserved to come back into the game. Until 2-2, Fehérvár was more efficient in shots on goal, we had more attempts, but they were not of high quality. We were able to win because we could go at a higher tempo than our opponent in the end, we did enough in intensity and will to earn the win. It's a great feeling to go to the break like that. We have made a lot of progress during the season, which has been constant, that we have functioned well as a team throughout. We needed that today to turn it around."
