We have extended the contract with Ivan Saponjic!

During the winter transfer window, 27-year-old former La Liga striker Ivan Saponjic, joined the club. The Serbian player made his debut away at Paks at the beginning of February, and since then he has already played in six NB I league games and one cup match in a Vidi shirt.

He quickly settled into our team and proved his scoring prowess in a short time: his two goals decided the MOL Hungarian Cup tie against Gyirmót, and in the league he scored once in Debrecen and twice away at Kecskemét - helping our team to a valuable win and a point. His spectacular goal at the home of KTE was voted the best goal of the 23rd round by MLSZ. Saponjics has played 337 minutes in his six league games in red-blue.

Our club has extended Saponjic's contract by exercising the option in his contract, so the goal-scoring striker will continue to strengthen Vidi next season!
