The light snowfall, and grey clouds hung over the Sobota astro turf pitch, as the teams run out for the early afternoon kick off. Wednesday's friendly win over Slovan Bratislava, meant that several first team members remained back home, including keepers Bozsovics and Sebok, and outfield players Farkas, Nagy, Liptak and Alves. Videoton's first chance came on 10 minutes, when Polonkia passed to Nikolics, who shot just inches above the bar. The opening goal came after 24 minutes, when Andics crossed from the left and Vasko sent the ball in off the post to make it 0-1. Murska had a goal disallowed ten minutes later, when the referee saw an infringement in the build up. Nemanja Nikolics made it 0-2 just before half time, when Sandor picked up the ball in midfield, before playing in Nikolics on the left who did well to find the far corner.
