Gyorgy Mezey saw his Videoton side make it three wins out of three
Videoton made travelled to Slovenia on Thursday for their second friendly in as many days. They came back 2-1 winners after two first half goals, were enough to beat Murska Sobota. Manager Gyorgy Mezey spoke after the friendly.
"I had doubts beforehand as to whether it was worth travelling 500km for a match, but it was a good decision in the end. We came up against a fast, well prepared side, who were also technically good and who bore the marks of Slovenian football. We played well in the first half, and I was also satisfied with the pace of the game and how precise we were. I was also happy with the debut of Martin Izing, which I thought was very good, and he will be coming with us to our Spanish training camp. | ||
