Videoton have been drawn with Haladas in the Hungarian cup

The tie will be played over two matches with the first taking place on the 28th October. The return leg at the Sostoi stadium will be played on the 18th November.

The draw for the final 16 round of the Hungarian cup took place at the Hungarian FA HQ on Friday morning. A place in the last 8 is on offer with Vidi coming out of the hat with fellow first division side Haladas. The first match will be played in Szombathely on the 28th October 2015. The return leg at the Sostoi stadium will be played on the 18th November. It is exactly three years ago on the same day that the two met in the cup in round 3. That tie was settled over one game back then with Nikolics scoring two goals in extra time.

"I am pleased that the round with Haladas will be played over two games. Anything can happen over one game, which we have seen countless examples of. I hope that we can prove over 2 x 90 minutes that we are the better side. I also hope that we can progress past Haladas without having to go in to extra time. We will be playing against them twice towards the end of October. The will result in two long trips to Szombathely over a five day period. We will have to solve the task in hand. We will really need to score an away goal in the first leg and also keep ourselves in the tie for the return home leg" - commented Istvan Kovacs, who joined Vidi from Haladas.
