Vidi will come face to face with prestigous opponents in a friendly match arranged at the Pancho Arena.
The upcoming international break has resulted in a friendly match being arranged for Henning Berg's team. Videoton will face 26 times league champions Partizan Belgrade at the Pancho Arena in Felcsut. The friendly will be played on Friday 11th November 2016 with a 18:00pm kick off. One interesting feature is that it was almost 32 years ago when Vidi beat the Belgrade side in a legendary match. The 5-0 scoreline at the Sostoi stadium on the 28th November 1984 included 4 goals from Jozsef Szabo and the other one by Lajos Majer. There are two players in the current Videoton squad, Danko Lazovics and Marko Scepovic who have both played in the colours of Partizan.
"We always try hard to find friendly opponents that will provide strong challenge. This is why I am very pleased that we have arranged this game against Partizan in November. A full squad will be available with the exception of those players away on international duty. I am sure it will be a good match at the Pancho Arena for our supporters" - commented director of football Zoltan Kovacs.
