The Videoton manager spoke shortly after the final whistle at the Bozsik stadium.
Henning Berg:
„Today's game was very tight with the seasons two best sides meeting. I would like to congratulate Honved and they deserve recognition for their performances throughout the season and naturally for winning the league. We had some big chances at the start of the game, but we could not convert them. It is a massive disappointment that we were so close to our aim, but we could not win the most important game. We had to take several gambles in the second half as a draw would not have been enough for us. Games such as these rarely produce too many chances. Honved defended well and closed down the wings and the space. We could have shown more in our attacking play. I would like to congratulate Honved and the way they performed over the course of the season and naturally for winning the league title."
Marco Rossi:
„It is always really difficult to play against Vidi as they are a very good side. They are a well built tactical team in games and their players carry out what they plan. Dealing with Suljic was a key moment in the game, which we managed to do well. We played well until the goal, but the opponents put us under pressure after that, but we played with our hearts. Our visitors placed us under great pressure but there were not too many chances. Our keeper was fantastic throughout the game. I do not want to pick anyone out as we won as a team and deserved the title. I do not think that I will be the Honved manager for the Champions League qualifiers. My work has ended here and perhaps my name will go into the history books. I would like them to remember me as the one that won the league in Kispest."
