The two managers spoke about the friendly match after the final whistle.
Henning Berg:
"I feel that it was a good match against one of the top teams in Serbia. You could see that Partizan took the game seriously, just as we did. It was useful to play against such opponents and pick up some important experience. It appealed to me the way the team played and I am pleased that we managed to get this game against them in the break. The attitude of the team was also good and in the first half we passed well and scored a fantastic goal. Today's game was a prestigious one and neither side wanted to lose the game. I felt that this could clearly be seen. There were some hard challenges but it was all part of this friendly game."
Marko Nikolics:
"This was not a classical friendly game and it had the same intensity as a competitive match. I am not satisfied with the result as we would have liked to have won. We had some big chances but an error on the left ended up with the home side scoring a very good goal. I thought that we dictated things in the second half and went forward, but we could not find the equaliser. I also felt that we carried out all that we wanted to in the game. It was a pity that our U21 international players and also the two injured players were not out there on the pitch. That would have resulted in a more quality game for the Hungarian supporters to watch. I would like to that the good hospitality of Vidi."
