We have suffered defeats in both our games with Sunday's opponents this season.

Our opponents on Sunday are currently third in the table with 15 wins, 7 draws and 7 defeats after 29 games, collecting 52 points. Their goal difference is 60-43. Dániel Böde and his teammates have scored the most goals so far this season. The top two spots on the scoring chart are tied by two Paks attackers: Dániel Böde leads with 13 goals, alongside Debrecen's Donát Bárány, while Barna Tóth is second with 12 goals, alongside Debrecen's Domingues and MTK's Jurina.

Paksi FC has once again reached the final of the MOL Hungarian Cup, where they will face defending champions FTC. This means a repeat of last year's cup final, which Paksi FC won 2-0 against the green and whites from the capital.

Vidi's biggest wins in the rivalry were four-goal victories, three of which came in 2011, when Paulo Sousa's team won 4-0 at home with two goals from Vasiljevic and one each from Alves and Nikolics. In 2016, Henning Berg's team also won 5-1 at home with goals from Géresi, Scepovics (2), Hadzic and Lazovics, and in 2018, we won 4-0 away with Marko Nikolics leading the way, with Pátkai scoring twice and Nego and Hodzic once each.

Taking all matches into account, our biggest win against Paks was an 8-0 victory in the winter of 2001, in a friendly match won by Ferenc Csongrádi's team, with Gábor Földes scoring four times against the Tolna County side.

At the top of the Vidi-Paks head-to-head scoring chart is our club's all-time leading scorer, former striker Nikolics Nemanja, who has found the net seven times against our Sunday opponents. Niko scored his first goal against Paks in 2010 and scored twice in our 4-1 victory in 2014.

In the history of the rivalry, Zsolt Haraszti, who has played for both teams, has scored five goals, while Norbert Könyves and Kenan Kodro have scored four each.

Several former Vidi players are now playing for Paks (Zsolt Haraszti, Ádám Kovácsik), while our squad also includes players who previously played for Paks (Bálint Szabó, who is currently on loan from Tolna County, and Gergely Nagy)..
