The two head coaches assessed the Újpest FC - MOL Fehérvár FC league game

Michael Boris and Milos Kruscic spoke to journalists after the match.

Michael Boris:

Anyone who has seen our last games could see that this was not our best game. We were tired, we had more time to regenerate than Újpest. We didn't play well at the beginning, our game was not precise. Usually we are better than that in the first half, but unfortunately it wasn't the case this time, the home team took the lead. At half time we saw that there were problems on the edge, so we had to change that. It wasn't the players, it was the system, but we discussed with the boys what we needed to improve and they stuck to it. We wanted to score all the time, we wanted to get at least one point, because we knew very well how the table stood. Of course, we wanted to win tonight, but unfortunately we didn't do our best this time, but Újpest played well. We can't be dissatisfied, as the team is unbeaten in eight games and we deserved to finish fourth.

Milos Kruscic:

I think we can be happy because Újpest is playing good football and the fans are back. At the beginning of the spring, the goal was to stay in the league, and we achieved that, and then during the season we saw that we could maybe achieve more than that, as they say, you get hungry while you eat. We tried, but we didn't succeed, maybe we didn't have what we thought we had, or maybe we were unlucky. I'm proud of the players, they've done very well since I've been working with them. It was a good night tonight in Újpest, two good teams played a good match, where everybody wanted to win. I think we could have deserved more than one point, as we had many more chances than the visitors.
