Q1 Europa League opponents has been narrowed to three teams

On Monday, we will be drawn against one of NS Mura (Slovenian), FK Kauno Žalgiris (Lithuanian), Bohemian FC (Irish) when the draw takes place in Nyon.

Tonight, UEFA narrowed down the list of potential opponents for Vidi. In Monday's draw, our team will be in  group 10, where we can get an opponent from the following teams in the EL 1st qualifying round:

NS Mura (Slovenian), FK Kauno Žalgiris (Lithuanian), Bohemian FC (Irish)

NS Mura (Slovenian)

Not so long ago they lifted the Slovenian cup in the previous season. We played then in a pre-season game during our summer training camp: It was played behind closed doors on the 1st August, we took the lead through Stopira, which was quickly levelled by Luka Susnjara, with the match ending 1-1. 

FK Kauno Žalgiris (Lithuanian)

FK Kauno Žalgiris, play in the Lithuanian first division football league, and are currently in third place in the 6-team league after 14 matches played in the 2020 season. The total value of their squad according to Transfermarkt is EUR 2.4 million.

Bohemian FC (Ireland)

Bohemian FC have won the Irish championship 11 times in the history, winning seven domestic cups and three-times the league cups. The Dublin-based team has a total squad value of € 125,000 according to transfermarkt.

Draw

The draw for the 1st qualifying round of the Europa League will be held at UEFA's Nyoni headquarters on the 10th August from 1 p.m. You can follow the live broadcast of the draw on vidi.hu, on Monday from 12 noon.

Once the pairings have been formed, the drawn selected teams will have 24 hours to finalise the venue and time of the match. If travel restrictions do not allow the match to be played in the home team's country, the home team must host the match in a third, neutral country where no team is subject to an exclusive travel restriction. 

Contrary to the practice of previous years, the draw for the 2nd qualifying round will take place after the matches of the 1st qualifying round have been played.
