Peter Solymosi will referee the Zalaegerszeg match

Looking ahead to Tuesday's league match at ZTE

Peter Solymosi will take charge of Tuesday evening's game between Zalaegerszeg and Videoton. The 38-year-old was born in Veszprem and took his refereeing badge back in 1995. He made his debut in a county league match in the autumn of 1997, in a game between Varpalota and Badacsonytomaj. He quickly moved up and became a member of the division three group of referee's. A year and a half later and he was officiating in division two fixtures. His debut in the top division came during the autumn of 2000. However, it was not until 2002, in a game between MTK and Sopron, that he was in the middle.

The experienced referee has taken control of key games, like last season's home 3-0 win over Debrecen. His last league game was on Saturday, when he took charge of the derby game between Ujpest and Ferencvaros. That match was perhaps his toughest to date, and he was forced to stop the match twice, due to off field problems.
