The manager feels that there are several reasons why it is important to start off well.
“We worked well during the winter pre-season. We trained out in Spain where the facilities were very good during the two training camps. We performed better and better after each game and there were no injuries, which is very important. We also played a friendly game during the week against Mosonmagyarorvar. The players each played a half and I feel that we are ready for the start. The competitive games are completely different than friendly matches. I hope that we can perform well against Vasas. We saw during the autumn in Ujpest that our opponents are capable of making things difficult for us. Now it is physiologically important that we make a good start and collect the three points. It is always hard to play the first competitive match, especially here after such a long break. We completed the work during the winter and I am satisfied with the attitude shown. The changes that we had to make were taken." - commented manager Marko Nikolic.
