The two managers shared their thoughts after the final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
"I congratulate my players for their good performance. We picked up an important three points against strong opponents. It is not easy to play against DVTK at all. I want to congratulate the supporters for backing the team throughout today's match. I feel that we managed to prepare well for Diosgyőr. We now have a day of rest before we start to work again ahead of our next game with Balmazujvaros. I want us to start the second half of the season with three wins from three before we arrive at the international break. We respect our opponents and even though they occupy one of the relegation positions, they have already taken four points from us this season. The team is performing better match after match and the atmosphere is better, so we are on a good road but we need to keep our feet on the ground."
The manager also spoke about the performance of Danko Lazovic and the yellow card he picked up.
"Danko was great today and I will make no comment on the match officials, just as I have not done before either. I respect them, just as I do the opponents, but this is a two way street. Danko is almost 35 and is performing well. He played with good mentality and is full of energy. Players like him, Szabolcs Huszti, Roland Juhasz or even Zoltan Gera deserve the respect. Sometimes you have to defend them. All I am thinking about here is respect."
Bódog Tamás:
"I congratulate Vidi and they were better than us and deserved to win. I would like to wish them good luck for the rest of the season. The first half did not go as we had planned. We were not brave enough to attack. Things were better in the second half. I am proud of the players as they did everything despite being behind. It is not easy to play away against Vidi. There will be other teams that will lose here. We need to learn and play as we did in the second half. We knew that we had players out missing but those that played gave their all. We could have also still lost the game with a full team. I am not pleased but there is nothing to be ashamed about to lose against Vidi. We will try and get a better result when we next come here."
