The two managers shared their thoughts on Saturday's big game at the Pancho Arena.
Marko Nikolic:
This was a real derby game. The game was played with so much at stake. I will try to be objective so soon after the final whistle. The first half saw Ferencvaros play better, but they could not find a breakthrough. The second half was the exact opposite. They had things to regret in the first half while we had the same in the second period. I tried to calm the team down at half time, which I managed to do, and we had the ball on the pitch more, which suited us. The biggest positive from the game was that we really battled and today's events will bond us even tighter together. The game was stopped so many times with yellows, reds, injuries and players complaining over the 90 minutes. It really was a fight out there, which did not make it an attractive football match, but there were two good sides out there on the pitch. Things in the league have not changed after today's game, and I cannot imagine that both teams will win their remaining matches. There will be opponents that are battling for serious targets and also to stay in the division. I feel that the season will go down to the final second.
Thomas Doll:
We hope that the injury to Julian Koch is not a serious one. All I know is that he has been taken to hospital. We dominated the first half, while things were more balanced in the second. The supporters saw a very strong Ferencvaros today. I am satisfied with the performance of the players. If you have to put the two halves together, then we deserved to win the game. We can live with this draw, even if there was more in the game. I really praise my team and the continuation is down to them.
