A top of the table clash takes place in Felcsut with Vidi looking to return back to the top of the table.
One of the most important games takes place on Saturday 5th May at 19:30pm. Ferencvaros visit the Pancho Arena in match 29 of the OTP league season. The green and whites returned to the top of the table last weekend and lead by a point.
Their spring record reads 5 wins, 3 draws and a defeat: They have lost only to DVTK and drawn against Ujpest, DVSC and Paks. FTC have beaten Honved, Balmazujvaros, Puskas Academy, Mezokovesd and most recently last weekend Haladas. Manager Thomas Doll has coached the green and whites since 2013 and has used 27 different players in the NB I this season. Only keeper Dibusz has played in all 28 games, and no other player has played more than 25 times leading up to the big game with Vidi. Botka, Gorriaran, G. Lovrencsics, Moutari and R. Varga have played 25 games. The latter is also the top goalscorer with 17 goals, with Bode on 12 and Paintsil with 8 goals to his name.
Vidi face what is on paper the strongest squad in the OTP League match 29. The Ferencvaros squad is valued at 14,6 million euro according to transfermarkt.de. It includes 1,2 million euro rated Uruguay player Fernando Gorriaran, Hungarian internationals Roland Varga, Dominik Nagy and Kenneth Otigba as well as Brazlian Marquinjos Pedroso who are at the 1 million euro mark. InStat has Dibusz, Otigba, Pedroso, R. Varga, Gorriaran and Bode in their dream team for the season. There are no players missing through suspension for today’s opponents.
