The Videoton manager shared his thoughts on the Hungarian cup win at Dabas.
Marko Nikolic:
„Firstly I would like to say that it was good here in Dabas to play in such surroundings. You can see that such people work here that have serious targets within football. I am pleased that we are through to the next round and that we could rest some players for the weekend. We had a plan as to who would play and how much and we kept to that plan. I am also pleased with the youngsters. Bendeguz Bolla made his debut in a competitive game, but there was also Bence Toth and Attila Mocsi while Bence Szabo scored twice to show that they are ready for professional football."
Erős Károly:
„A person can never be satisfied with a defeat but there is no shame in losing to the best side in Hungary. I learned from today's game as a manager and my players could play against good players. They had the chance to see where they could end up. The lads tried to carry out what I asked of them. We did not want to play defensive football but rather try to play. I felt that we managed to do this at times but the four goal difference was realistic. Perhaps we should have been awarded a penalty as the players deserved to score a goal from their performance today. I hope that we will get back at the weekend what we put in during today's game. I would like to congratulate Vidi and feel that we lost to the potential league and cup winners."
