In the 10th minute we took the lead, or at least we thought we did for two minutes: a lovely attack, Petryak releasing Heister on the wing, who crossed the ball low into the middle, and Nikolic struck the ball into the net from close range, but after VAR, referee Pintér disallowed the goal for a offside.

Before the end of the half, MTK came back to life, Grozav controlled a loose ball and shot from 19 meters, , which Kovácsik got a finger too to divert onto the right post. Just when everyone throught the two sides would go into half time with the score level, the blue and whites took the lead in injury time: Weir crossed from the right, Grozav burst in front of goal and headed unmarked into the net (0-1).
In the first quarter of an hour of the second half the game slowed down in pace, we didn't get into a position to create, but at the other end, Miovski's curler had to be saved by Kovácsik. In the 64th minute, Szendrei got hold of the ball and fired a 24-metre shot wide of the bottom left corner.
In the 67th minute, Kodro, who had just come on, was about to flick on a low cross from Rus, but a defender stepped in and Petryak took the resulting corner, which Musliu's connected with but it found Mijatovic. In the 70th minute Kodro hit a left footed shot, which saw Mijatovic making a diving save. Three minutes later we had a penalty: Kovács played in Heister, Varju slipped in and connected with our defender. Kodro confidently hit the penalty to the bottom right, with Mijatovic diving to his left (1-1)!
And in the 79th minute we took the lead: Makarenko crossed from the left and Kodro scored from 6 meters out into the bottom right (2-1)!
Shortly before the end, the visitors appealed for a penalty after Vancsa was brought down inside the penalty area, but referee Csaba Pintér saw no foul and waved play on. In the 3 minute of extra time, Haraszti's free kick was cleared off the line, but the result remained the same. We won 2-1 and moved up to second place in the table, having played one game less than the leaders Kisvárda.
