Imre Szabics: We have had a real team-building week

We started the match as we had planned, dominating the game, creating chances, but we could not convert them. MTK created two chances in this period, the second of which they took advantage of. We felt the effect of this even in the first 10-15 minutes of the second half, but I was sure that we would turn the game around, because even when we were behind I could feel the positive energy throughout the stadium. We have had a real team-building week, as last week we managed to turn the game around after going a man down, and now we have picked up the three points after the opponent had taken the lead. I'm glad Kenan Kodro had such a good debut, congratulations on his goals. Tonight we can celebrate and be happy with the victory, I also wish our national team players good luck, but then we will continue to prepare for the tasks ahead of us and the gala match in Poland on Friday.

I feel we played a good match. The team was tactically disciplined, we built our game from the back, we tried to build on our skills. We did very well for seventy minutes, but the substitutions were the difference on the pitch today. Our substitutions were okay, but our opponent could send in players with La Liga and Seria A experience, we don't have those opportunities. But I am proud of the players because they played well. It was probably our best game of the season despite the defeat.
