The Vidi manager spoke ahead of his sides important semi-final, second leg match on Tuesday evening.
“As we saw on Saturday, our trip to the Hungarian Cup final can lead to us coming up against a very strong team, and there will definitely be another tough fight on Tuesday evening as well. We are ready for the second leg, I think we have already shown in Mezőkövesd that there is no problem with our fitness. I left the stadium of Kövesd with basically positive feelings after the first match, although there is no doubt that we did not show our best form. Of course, I would like to see more of the team in the game, and we could have created more situations, but we still had opportunities, and I think it could be seen that we went to Mezőkövesd for the victory. Our defence was basically okay, there weren’t too many shots on goal for the opponent, even though we went onto the pitch at the home of a good team. However, we have to forget the result of the first match, now we have no choice but to fight to go through, so that we can prove it in the final" - our head coach Joan Carrillo said before the second leg against Mezőkövesd.
