Joan Carrillo: I want to say sorry to the supporters

The two managers shared their thoughts after the final whistle.

Joan Carrillo:

"I firstly want to congratulate Zalaegerszeg on the win. I am not sure whether they were the better side overall, but you cannot argue that they scored two goals and won 2-0. We did not start the first half badly although the tempo was not as quick as I would have wanted. We still created several chances but did not convert them. It was the home side that started the second half better. They took the lead following a good move. We tried to go forward in search of the equalising goal but were unorganised and conceded the second goal. We have put ourselves in a complicated position. I believe our squad has enough quality to be able turn the tie around next Wednesday in the second leg. I promise that we will battle to go through next Wednesday until the final whistle. I wish to also say sorry to the supporters for the result and the way we played."

Márton Gábor:

"Games like these are easy to summarise. I am pleased with the way the team reacted to certain things. We have not really played in this formation before but the players showed that they can be counted on. Oliver Hegedus made a positive debut. This is one thing as football changes day-to-day and week-to-week. Today's game was important for us. It was really pleasing to see the reaction I received from them today. We were a real team out there today. They all gave everything out on the pitch and we played football."
