Gyorgy Mezey: "I had one wish regarding the cup draw: I wanted to play against opponents that we would not need to travel several hundred miles to play. There are serious league games that will be played in the week leadeing up to the cup tie. I would like the players to focus their energy on the match, rather than on travelling. We managed to do just this with the draw, as we only have to travel to Budapest."
Gyorgy Sandor: "We spoke on the way back from our cup match at Haladas, about who we would like to get in the next round. We finally decided that it did not really make much difference, as if we are to win the Hungarian cup, than we will have to beat everyone. For me personally, I prefer playing the first leg away from home, so I was also pleased that this is have things turned out. We need to make sure that we go through to the next round."
Zoltan Liptak: "We could have got an easier draw, but also more difficult opponents like ZTE, Ujpest or Kecskemet. It will not be easy against Honved. We lost at home to Honved in the autumn season, so we now have the chance to get double revenge on them."
