The two managers spoke to the media following the final whistle.
Henning Berg:
"It was a very good game and we produced a wonderful performance. The scoreboard did not reflect this in the first half, but we still played well then. It was strange to see Debrecen take the lead, but my players reacted well and we did not start to feel sorry for ourselves, but we continued to press forward. I saw plenty of good moves from the lads so I was satisfied with the performance and the result. It was a wonderful evening for us. Debrecen have their third manager of the season, so it is understandable if we do not see the best performance from them. They have played balanced games until now, but today's match was not that. I felt that we had a large part to play in this, as we played at a good level. As to whether we played the best since I have been here? It is difficult to say. The two games against Midtyjlland and the home match against Cukaricki were also fine. Our attacking play was very good today and we could have scored more goals. I was also satisfied with the technical, tactical and fitness elements of our play."
Leonel Pontes:
"I arrived at the club 12 days ago, so I am trying to measure everything, the club and the players. I am trying to get used to the city, and I can say that the city does not deserve this result. I am here to change things as in life you have to sometimes change things. We need to think about our aims and build a strong team. We need to bring up the youngsters from the academy, as I would rather work with those youngsters who are willing to battle and fight, than those players that are not. If there are players that do not wish to play for the club, then we have no need for them."
