The two managers spoke to the gathered media after the final whistle.
Henning Berg:
"We started the game very well with good attacking moves. We played good combative football and scored two goals. We could not play at the same level in the second half, but our defending was fine. I felt that we could have had a penalty, which would have given us a third goal. I am satisfied overall with the win and the way we played in the first half. There were some good individual displays in tonight's game. Roland Juhasz dominated in midfield, and he was important for us. Danko Lazovic showed quality football in the first 45 minutes. I felt that Loic Nego put in a good performance when he went forward. We have played more games compared to other Hungarian teams, which can be somewhat felt. We have important matches next week, and then a three week break to the league season. We will have time to recover and recharge ourselves. We can prepare for the rest of the season. We will be ready for next Sunday's league game, and I feel that we are good form. I would like us to continue this."
Attila Pintér:
"I would first of all like to congratulate al those athletes that are competing for Hungary in Rio. We came here prepared, but I was not counting on us conceding goals like we did. We failed to clear the corner, and then did not pick up the man. I could say that we finished ourselves off within 5-6 minutes. We then started to play with more confidence. However, our final ball was not precise, and had we been more accurate with our final ball, we would have had more chance to score. The team showed in the second half that they have something in reserve, and we played well in periods. Videoton have a much stronger squad at the moment. We are trying to get stronger and achieve our targets and stay in the division. I would like to thank the supporters who backed us this evening in such numbers."
