We asked the Győri ETO FC manager about the kind of game he was expecting.
- What game are you counting on in Saturday's big match between Vidi and ETO, which kicks off at 16:30?
As you said, it will be a big match, and accordingly with a suitable tempo, while I would like it to be a match that will entertain the crowd at the Sostoi stadium. Our aim is to pick up the 3 points, but I am sure that Vidi will also be trying their best to get the win, so this could be the guarantee that it will be a good game.
- You lost the season opener at Paks, but then easily beat Honved in the next game. Which is the real Győri ETO?
I feel that we showed our true face over the spring season, when we suffered one defeat and drew two matches, while winning ten games in the league.
- Teams usually arrive to Szekesfehervar to defend, but under your management, ETO tend to always attack when they go out on to the pitch. What can we expect on Saturday?
I have said many times that the Győr team will be one that attacks. We will play open, honest and attacking football, and we will not be going there to defend. With Vidi also not likely to play defensive football, especially on their home pitch, I am sure that it will be an enjoyable game for the supporters to watch.
