Videoton travel to Kecskemet on Saturday hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table
Ferenc Bede will take charge of Saturday's league game at Kecskemet. The official who was born in Szolnok, recently celebrated his 45th birthday. He took his refereeing badge at the Budapest Football Association in 1985. He is one of the most experienced referee's in Hungary, having made his second division debut back in 1993, in a game between BVSC and Debrecen, which ended in a 2-1 win to the visitors. He has also officiated in first division matches over the last 17 years, and managed to beat Sandor Puhl's record in May 2008, for the most first division games, which is now 225. He was voted referee of the season in season's 2002/03 and 2007/08. He has so far only taken charge of one Vidi game this season, which was the 3-0 away win at MTK. Bede will be assisted by Butkai Zsolt and Medovarszki János.
