The official press conference was held on Saturday morning. The two managers were present together with players Roland Juhasz and Gabor Gyomber.
The press conference took place in Budapest on Saturday morning ahead of the Super cup final. Bernard Casoni was present with captain Roland Juhasz. Ferencvaros were represented by manager Thomas Doll and Gabor Gyomber.
"The pre-season has gone really well and the main important of the training camp was on the fitness side of things. The training camp also gave me the chance to get to know the players in the team. Everything is in place for us to work really well in Fehervar. We can win an important cup on Sunday against good opponents. This can give us big momentum. I have the starting eleven in my head, but we will still have a training session before then, but if there are no injuries, then I know who will start for us" - commented Bernard Casoni.
"I would like to welcome my colleague to Hungary and wish him the vest. Our own pre-season has gone well. This was made up of several parts as we are not only preparing for the league but European competition. Several of my players will be rested on Sunday evening as we have an important EL game ahead of us. This does not mean that we will not be taking the Super cup seriously. We will be playing an important game at the home of the league champions. The Super cup looks really nice so I am sure that we can find a place for it within the Fradi museum" - commented the FTC manager.
"I have played in a few Super cup finals over the years. I feel that this is an important trophy in the life of every club. This is why we will do all we can to make sure the cup ends up in Szekesfehervar. The game can be an important measurement to see where both sides are. I would like to wish Fradi the best for their second leg Europe League match" - commented Roland Juhasz.
"This will be my first Super cup final, so I would like us to win it. The pre-season has been non-stop with several being with their international sides, which meant that we could not play in friendly games. I am sure that the match on Sunday will be better than a training match without any importance. Winning the Hungarian cup was the best match for us last year when we beat the Hungarian champions. I hope that we can begin the new season with a win against Vidi" - said Gabor Gyomber.
The Super cup final will be played at the Sostoi stadium on Sunday evening at 20:15pm.
