Bernard Casoni: " We had some good solutions but also have to improve in many areas"

Bernard Casoni: I would like to congratulate Ferencvaros, who are a very well organized team. They took advantage of our errors, which we could not come back from. We continued to go forward following the sending off, but we were not effective enough. You could see that Fradi have already played in a European match, and they were better than us today. We lost but we need to take strength out of this game. There were some good solutions in the match, while we also showed that we can battle. Ferencvaros showed that a more aggressive game is needed at this level. It was a little bit difficult for us to hit them on attacks after we got hold of possession. We need to develop this and our aggressiveness. 

Thomas Doll: I am very pleased that we managed to win an important game like this at the start of the season. We deserved this success. We started the game good and played really well until the sending off. We had some problems after that. The game would surely have ended differently if we would have conceded a goal at that point. This did not happen and luck was also on our side. The players had to work hard but they solved the tasks. I am proud of my team who have won three cups within the space of a month. We have won the Super cup but there is a lot of work ahead of us.
