"I knew that the game would be settled by a single goal"

Sandor Torghelle scored the only goal of the match at Ujpest on Sunday

Sandor Torghelle: "It was a real hard fought match, at the home of Ujpest on Sunday afternoon. I would like to point out, that in August, we were made to play the game during the peak of the hot weather. To the person who thought up the kick off time, I would recommend that he should stand under the hot sun for 90 minutes. They do not even have to run, but just stand in one place, and try it out for themselves to see what it feels like. I have had to play in similar conditions during my career, and I remember when I was a Honved player and we played Ferencvaros once, it must have been 40c that day. Getting back to Sunday's match, I felt that the battle on the pitch was intense. I also believe that the match official was a bit too strict, when he started producing yellow and red cards. We knew by the pattern of play, that this would be a typical game settled by one goal. I am very happy that we scored that goal, and the most important aspect is that we picked up the 3 points. We will now switch our focus to Thursday's match with Genk."
