Yakin: "We need to win back the points that we lost in Szekesfehervar"

"We need to win back the points, which we left behind in Szekesfehervar. We had the majority of the play in the game, and had around 76% possession. We also created several chances during the match. We were unfortunate to concede an early goal, and this put a stamp on the rest of the game. It will be just as important tomorrow to see who scores the first goal. We need to play with lots of concentration, in order that we achieve our aim, which means that we need to build attacks from the first minute. I feel that we will have a similar percentage of possession as we did in Szekesfehervar, but we will need to score from the chances we create. I am also well aware that Videoton FC defend very well, and they hit teams with quick counter attacks. We have prepared for their type of game. Ever since I have been manager of FC Basel, we have played in four different games, with four different line up's. We did not play as well as I would have liked us to in our most recent game with Young Boys. However, I was more pleased with what I saw, than in the previous games. We will not give up hope of fighting our way out of the group, and this is how we will go out onto the pitch tomorrow. We still have a chance of going through and we want to make use of this chance. Our supporters will play a big part in this and we will need their help. More than 12,000 tickets have already been sold, and tickets will be on sale all the way through tomorrow."
